Our Story
We're Anika & Carson, your Ontario wedding photographer & videographer duo.
With a shared passion for capturing authentic moments, we approach weddings with the same love and care that we share as a couple. Our candid approach to weddings allows us to create timeless photos you will cherish forever.
We met while working at Starbucks back in 2018 and have been together ever since :) Whether we're out exploring nature, engaging in board game competitions, or having marathon sessions of our favorite sitcoms, life is better when we're together.
Building this business together over the years has been the most exciting journey, allowing us to capture so many beautiful love stories. After all, Amare in Latin means “to love.”

Meet Your Photographer
I'm Anika, the lead photographer at Amare Studios.
My passion for photography has been with me since childhood, you can always find me with a camera in hand! Being a wedding photographer is the best job I could have ever asked for. I love traveling for weddings and elopements and getting to document the whole process.
When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me hiking the Bruce Trail, thrift shopping, camping, or unwinding at my family cottage – a true granola girl at heart!
Meet Your Videographer
I'm Carson, the lead videographer at Amare Studios.
I truly find joy in capturing the most precious moments of couples' lives. My favorite part of my job would be the trust placed in us to seize these irreplaceable memories and create candid wedding videography for our couples.
In my free time, I enjoy MTG, League, and embarking on hikes with my Aussie shepherd.
